Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using SheetRank ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SheetRank provides browser-based financial modeling practice, automated grading, and competitive leaderboards for educational and professional development purposes. Simulated deal volumes and rankings are illustrative training metrics, not actual transaction records.
3. Eligibility
The Service is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 13. To purchase a paid subscription, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If we learn that an account belongs to someone who does not meet these requirements, we may suspend or terminate it.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your affiliation details current.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not reverse-engineer grading keys, share account credentials, use automated tools to manipulate leaderboard rankings, or misrepresent your affiliation with any firm or university.
6. Intellectual Property
All deal content, grading engines, and platform materials are owned by SheetRank. Your model submissions grant us a license to store and evaluate them for grading and analytics purposes.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Enterprise licenses are governed by separate agreements.
Automatic Renewal, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds
Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, matching the plan you selected) at the then-current price, and your payment method will be charged automatically, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your account's billing settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain Pro access through that date. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. The student discount, where applicable, is tied to your verified .edu email and applies to each renewal for as long as that verification remains valid.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we determine in good faith that you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," for training purposes. It does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or career advice, and leaderboard affiliations are user-provided cohort labels, not endorsements by any third party. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in any particular interview, job, or career outcome.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetRank and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
